Does anyone know what show this was?

So, they had this special on the History channel several months ago that was pretty interesting. i can't remember what it was called though. It was like, a story about a girl growing up a little in the future when the world runs out of oil and the chaos that ensues. It was told from first person in the girls point of view and went all the way to her being eighty some years old and the oldest woman in the United States. It was very interesting, and had some animation strewn through it. Anyone know what it was?
