Caught with my parents "toy"?

Today, I thought I was home alone, so I went into my parents room to look at their stuff as a normally do. I had just pulled out a sex toy to look at when my dad walked in. Awkwardness ensued. I'm just wondering how to avoid this issue as I know everything about sex, and I don't want a stupid conversation with my parents. I really wasn't doing anything, but I'm sure they wont believe that. I'm really freaking out, any advice?
